This past weekend was Anime North 2008, and a bunch of people went as Digimon characters and we all had a photoshoot together. After the con, a bunch of us decided to top it next year by making "humanized" digimon costumes, and this was my idea for Gomamon.
Obviously I'll wear shoes with the costume, prob'ly white shoes, purple socks so it doesn't clash with the rest of it. I just can't draw shoes worth a damn so I left them out. The gloves'll be made fingerless, with the claws attached on a separate thing so I can pull them over my own fingers in a hurry but still have my fingers ready to pick up stuff. The scarf was an afterthought 'cause I thought there wasn't enough neck action, and scarves are known to increase overall awesomeness. It's been proven by SCIENTISTS. Gomamon and Digimon are copyright Toei Animation, I believe. Haha, one of the DA art categories is "Digital". IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE, MY FRIEND. |

I think it's an awesome start and maybe throughout the year (you have like what three hundred and something days so it works XD) to refine the design bit by bit. My suggestion would be loose the tail and represent it with a dangling belt to the side or something of that sort. Mainly because a tail would probably hurt when you try to sit... XD <--- likes practical err...

I think I've gotten into the habit of always bringing granola bars to a con when I'm staying in a hotel there, so that sounds like a good arrangement to me.
